SONGS FROM SELF RETREAT
Songs from Self Retreat, is a collection of songs born during a month-long self-retreat in the northern region of Israel in the summer of 2022. This retreat, dedicated to exploring the intersection of his two greatest passions—music and Buddhism—was a time for reflection and creation. Immersed in the study of Dharma texts, poetry (primarily by Rumi), and meditation, Roy wrote an album that blends philosophical, Rumi-inspired lyrics with unique sonic landscapes, intricate production, and evocative guitar parts.
